And welcome. It is so wonderful to connect with you. I just love that you are here, continuing to expand your mind, your energy, your consciousness, your healing. I just love it. And I love today's episode. It is very unique. So it is very different than any other episode. And I'm fairly certain the way that it ends is going to be a lot different than you think it will.
Especially if you've been listening to past episodes, you'll notice that there's a very big difference between this episode and what I love about our volunteer. I mean, he's so sweet and he's got a great heart. And he's also really, really stuck and you'll notice that and there's just really profound insights that come from every single episode.
This one very much included and the awareness of, you know, we, I think we've all been there before where we feel stuck in one way or another or felt stuck and there are certain important keys to getting there. Getting unstuck, if you will. And, you know, part of it is, of course, embracing change. And there are other key components that are needed to get your mind unstuck.
And that's where we're going today. And today's volunteer, his name is Irv. And, if you recall, we started the first half of his session I shared with you on last week's episode and there were some really powerful insights. So we paused the session and today we're going to continue the second part of that session going through the insights with that because they're just, there are so many.
And if you recall from last week's episode, we had been talking about the topic that was really ingrained. That's a feeling of life isn't fair and it's a very strong feeling for him. And, you know, it's different for everybody, but what's going on with his health and what's going on in his life, if you recall, is that he had a lot of health issues going on from thyroid issues, getting worse to back pain, which the back pain, the onset there was, you know, he had a gym experience in the last month that created a flare up, but he'd also had issues of ongoing back issues for years.
And so what's happened is there's an underlying key component. That's connecting all of these that's really needed to be able to move forward with him and, and to really make the transformation. And so again, this is likely going to be much different than you expect that it's going to be, but it is profound and offers some really great awareness, especially if you are somebody who is feeling stuck.
I mean, it's just going to be eye opening and also help you. To get unstuck, maybe in an area of your life as we're going through this. And so on that note, let's go ahead and dive in with Beautiful Irv. Here we go.
And I'm going to first ask you, are you willing to change? Yes. Great. So I'm gonna ask you to breathe. And I'm gonna ask you to picture what it would look like moving forward if this pattern really changed. Like if it really, really, really changed completely, where you felt like everything was actually working for you and was really fair.
What would that look like?
Well, I kind of get stuck because I didn't get the shot and I wanted to, uh, Like going, because I was forced to quit, I wanted to go work with kids, but, uh, like helping kids, uh, learn how to read or do easy math, which I'm not super stellar at, but there's kids worse than I am, but I can't because I haven't received the shot.
So I'm, I'm stuck. Okay. And then. So, and real quick, so I want you, I want you to notice the feeling of, there's some resentment there. Do you notice that? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But I need to get rid of it because it's, it's killing me. I hear you. So I'm going to ask you to breathe.
All right. So let's go ahead and pause it just for a really quick insight. Now notice for a moment, when I just asked him, I said, okay, are you really ready to change? And he said, yep, I'm ready to change my way of thinking. You know, he's excited to change. And then I said, okay, Well, I want you to start thinking in this way and he's like, but I'm stuck.
And so notice for a moment, if you are trying to change, but you're also going into all of the old story in the old story. So if you continue to think in the exact same old way that you did, it's not going to work to create the change. And so that's what I want you to notice is the, is the difference is, you know, when I asked him specifically, I said.
Are you ready to change? Are you willing to change? And he said, yes, and notice this. And by the way, I'm not saying that just Irv does this. I am saying this is a profound insight because all of the time people will want change. They want to change their life. They want to change their health and their mind continues to go wild.
on the old programming over and over and over again. And by the way, what you'll notice in this next upcoming part is you'll notice, even as we go through this, you'll notice there's a lot of conflicting beliefs with each other. And we're going to go ahead and unpack that because that is a key reason that people can stay stuck.
is of course continuing to go into the old pattern and also having a lot of conflicting thought patterns as well. And you'll want to notice as we go through this, if you've been in this place also. So that said, let's go ahead and dive in with Irv. Here we go.
All right. So give me one second because, all right, so, What you want to notice about your mind also is that it buries information from you. Kind of like this, when I first mentioned, I said, do you, do you notice the feeling of resentment in the very beginning? And you're like, I don't, I don't have any. But you can see it now coming up, where you're like, ah.
I didn't get the shot. I can't teach the kids. Oh, here's, you, you see it, right? Resentment. Okay. There's another thing, by the way, that you're going to want to notice. When I asked you about money and resentment towards money, there was another part of you that also said, if I have it, I like to just give it to other people, right?
Yes. Okay, so if I told you that as soon as somebody got something, like let's say you gave somebody your favorite sweater, and as soon as they got it, they gave it to somebody else, how much did they really want it? How much did they feel like they deserved it? Well, I have a problem. I remember from childhood learning fractions, and the person next to me was having so much trouble, I told him how to do it, and then I lost it.
It's, I forgot how to do it. It's, it's, it's kind of a, and then just, I would have, you know, I used to have nice things and then they just, I don't even try to have nice things anymore due to the fact I'm expecting to lose them. Okay. And, uh, And if I told you that there's a guy who doesn't even have nice things anymore because he's expecting to lose it.
Okay. How does that feel inside? Well, uh, it, it feels, you know, that's just a small part of the whole thing. I'm very blessed. But wait a second, but wait a sec. If somebody said, yeah, there's. this problem going on, but I just put it in the closet and, and the elephant in the room is just a small part of the whole room.
Look at the couch. So, but, but I'm going to ask you to breathe and I hear you that you're blessed and you're sweet and you're wonderful and you have a beautiful heart and I see all of that. Um, and I'm going to ask you to breathe and I want you to notice all this hurt in this area. Can you see that? Yes, I can see that.
Okay. Great. And so,
all right. So, let's go ahead and pause it just for a quick moment. Again, you know, what a sweetheart and also, as we can see, there's a lot of different things going on. For example, you can see there's a lot of hurt, you know, even to the point where he's saying, you know, I don't even try to have nice things anymore.
because I expect to lose them. And if you recall from last week, when we were talking on the first half of this session, where we started on this session, he was talking about things that were taken away in the business and, and different things like that. So there was a lot of, uh, resentment towards.
Things being taken away and life isn't fair and it was a lot of feelings. But then notice for a moment, then he says, well, I'm blessed. Well, I'm blessed. And so you can see he's trying to add in the feeling. I'm blessed. I'm blessed. I'm blessed. I'm blessed. And the truth of it is, is you can see also there's all of this hurt and I don't even try to have anything anymore because it just gets, you know, I just lose it and it just gets taken away and then to add on top of it, he had said.
You know, I said, you know, could you imagine having more money? And the first thing he said is, I just want to give it to other people. So there's also that exact thing, which is all playing a part. Now, if he had said with money, you know what, I'd love to give a percentage of it to charity or this, that, the other, and then I would love to do X, Y, Z.
In his own life. Okay, great. There creates at least space for him to have something. But I said, you know, what would you do if you had more money and more abundance and whatnot? First thing he said is I just give it could give it away to others. And so what's happening is that There's not that feeling of being able to have anything for himself, which of course is part of the reason that he expects anytime he gets something, he's going to lose it.
And then also on top of that life isn't fair. So there's a lot of different pieces that are going on. And on top of it, you know, wanting to be a pastor. And, and be spiritual and, and all of that. And so on top of that feeling like, Oh, he's blessed and putting on just the wording, Oh, well, I'm blessed. I'm blessed.
I'm blessed. Which you'll see coming up. You know, I'm, I'm blessed. There's a feeling of feeling like, Oh, I'm blessed never to have missed a meal and I just need to be blessed with what I have. And just, there's a lot of different feelings going on. And so that's what I want you to notice is that what would need to happen.
to get out of this is to decide on a new way of thinking to look forward to. So when there's so many different conflicting pieces in your mind, so if your mind is in this place where you're stuck with this and stuck with that and ultimately what you, what you want to do is be willing to change to a new way of thinking.
So getting on a new track of thinking, a new something to look forward to is going to be key. To creating the shift. So that said, let's go ahead and dive back in with beautiful Irv. Here we go.
If you know that your thoughts and your feelings, your feelings, your feelings, your energy helps create your life. Yes, it does. So basically, of course, we're seeing the issue. We see it right. And give me one second. I just want to look at a bingo. There is a strong feeling criticizing others for having, having things.
Are you familiar with that? It's kind of like if I was, if somebody was walking around, they were like, oh, those, those wealthy people, they do this and this and this and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And there's like that, that criticism feeling towards others for having things. Can you see that? No, I, I really don't see that.
I'm sorry for blocking, giving you a block. You're okay. You're okay. You can, you can give anything. You're, you're good. You're good. So, uh, bingo. So give me one second. Uh, can you give me your father's, uh, first initial? C. Bingo. And if I ask you, uh, how did you feel about your father working growing up? He didn't work.
He had post traumatic stress syndrome. Mm hmm. And And if I ask you, um, as far as growing up as a kid, how much you felt like you guys were financially, um, safe growing up, how much would you say that is? Blessed. Blessed. I've never missed a meal. I've always had more than enough food my entire life. Mm hmm.
And, um, and if I ask you how you felt about the guys who had more money and more things in school, how would you say that is? Blessed. That they had more. I, I, I didn't do not see that. I am, uh, wishing I had their stuff. They just had it, you know, we're born into a better situation. Okay. And um,
all right, so let's go ahead and pause it just for a quick moment because I want to give you a very powerful perspective here and very powerful insight. So if you're somebody who feels exactly that, who feels like you were just born into a place that wasn't as lucky as others and other people were just, Born with a much better place in life.
And I hear that all of the time, especially with that pattern of feeling like life isn't fair. And I want to give you a perspective that can help you to shift this. And this is the reason why is that all of the time I work with people who have come in with some type of major health issue, even as a kid, and you know, even if you think about my health issue, um, I, you know, going through what I went through and going, you know what?
The very thing that I felt like was, like, took away my entire life as it was. I ended up turning it into a gift, not because the problem was a gift, but because I changed and I grew. And I can tell you that even, you know, here on this topic, we're talking about, you know, feeling self resentment towards financial and, and, and work and, and, and all of that.
And, you know, even on that topic, there are plenty of people I've worked with who have gone from rags to riches, so to speak. They didn't start. in an abundant life. They had a lot of challenges, you know, and you probably have heard people who have even gone from being homeless to being very wealthy and very successful.
And so my point is. It's exactly that, is that if you have that feeling of feeling like others were just born with more luck than you are, and if you keep that, then it will keep you stuck. It is very, very much connected to this bigger pattern that we're talking about of even life being unfair that we started talking about, you know, of course, on the first half of this session.
And so that this is another leg of that same pattern, if you will. And what happens. Is if you feel like others. We're just born with more luck, or born in a better place, or, you know, than you. As you can see, even in working with him, you can tell there's a bit of, of unfair. Uh, and what'll happen is it will create a subconscious feeling of envy or, or unfair feeling that will keep you from having things.
Because it feels like, oh, it's, it's unfair. And of course. It does a couple things. It says, okay, well, I define, it would define me as saying, oh, I'm somebody who has lack. Okay. And that's, it's basically what you would call a presupposition in the mind. It creates, um, and, and a belief, a feeling. Uh, feeling like, okay well, if others have, then I don't have, so to speak.
And so it creates that feeling in the mind, and it can stay very, very stuck. And so, in other words, the, the shift that he would want to have is, hey! You know what? Others have, have more, and so can I! And! The other shift he would want to have is, Hey, our thoughts help create our lives. So it doesn't matter where I've started, I can get anywhere.
And of course, going back to the Rag to Riches story, or the people who have grown up with, you know, major health issues and then transformed it, and love, you know, there's people who've grown up feeling unloved, and who've transformed it into massive amounts of love. And so the, the shift that you'll want to have here if you've had this is to say, you know what?
It doesn't matter what others were born in with. Hey, I've woken up to the awareness that my thoughts help create my life so I can do and be and, and really have what I'm wanting if I'm willing to really change, if I'm willing to really change. So the emphasis is that you've got to really change this.
And so if you hold on to these feelings. Even a feeling like that others are more blessed or others were given more, then you're going to have that same pattern in your life that says, you know, if you say, well, I was born into life and others were given more, then when you're in your 20s, you're going to feel like, hey, Others are given more, and in your 30s.
Others are given more, and in your 40s. It's a pattern that's going to continue, which continues that very pattern that says life isn't fair. So just noticing that, and you really want to transform that, if that has been a pattern for you in your life. And again, instead of feeling like others were given more, others were given more, You want to say, wow, I woke up to the awareness that life is really amazing and my thoughts help create my life and I can do this and this is exciting and I really can have an amazing incredible life and let that rest go.
Because again, I can't tell you how many people I've seen who have had rough upbringings. who've transformed it. And you know, there's a, even plenty of celebrities or professional athletes, or, you know, there's stories all over the place of people who have done that. So you have to be willing though, to really change.
Now there's one other piece that I just want to remind your mind of. And it's when we stop and think about Irv, where he is right now, you know, needing to be in a better place, place of, of wanting to, to work and, and find a way to make money and, and all of these things. And there's a lot of conflicting beliefs, but also when I asked him, what would it, what would it feel like to have more money?
His first immediate knee jerk response was, I'll give it away. Okay. Which means that his brain sees it as being more good or better or superior that if you have things, you shall give them away. And so that's also a key thing that's going on here is, you know, if, if somebody said, okay, well, if you hear, I'm going to give you a sweater, okay, I'm going to give it away.
Okay. You're going to give this. Okay. You're going to give it away. So if there's a lot of that going on, it's for one reason. And it's because your brain feels like it is better if you have things. to give it away. And so when I asked him about money, what would you do if you had more money? I would give it away because his brain sees it as being better.
And so point being is that of course, if you have that in your mind as well, you want to create some balance. Sure. It's great to be charitable and kind. But you need to make sure that your knee jerk response, which means your immediate response, is about being able to have for yourself as well. Because if not, then that means in your subconscious mind.
So when I say knee jerk, you know, what is that? Immediate reflex to response is giving it away. Then that's what's in your subconscious mind. And that's where you'll find your life. keeps ending up, which as Irv has mentioned in his case, he doesn't even bother having anything anymore because he just expects he'll lose it.
So you can see those connections. All right, so that said, again, just being willing to change is key. to getting the results that you want. So that said, let's go ahead and dive back in with Beautiful Irv. Here we go.
Bingo. Okay. So we're going to, we'll just skip over this, but there's, um, what comes up is, um, for maybe age. Like seven there's a feeling of feeling like that others who have more money There's they're like they're selfish at a level four is what I see It's like if they have more things that they're they're selfish and there's a there's a criticalness to it Are you familiar with that at all?
No, I grew up in a nice neighborhood with a bunch of like five kids I played with it was great. Awesome. Perfect. Perfect. Perfect. All right, so, uh, bingo All right, so I'm gonna ask you just for a moment to breathe And let's go here. Let's, let's move it forward. Let's see if we can move it forward. Um, if I ask you, you said that you wanted to be able to teach kids math and things like that, right?
Correct. Okay, and so what would happen if you started teaching them online, on Zoom or something? I don't like the computer, and it would be the kids that were, like, really can't even use a computer. You know, the slower type kids. Okay, and out of curiosity, Um, did you work in a school before, or, or? No, I, I, uh, wanted to become a youth pastor, but I never did, uh, do that.
Okay. Did that for ten years. Okay. And do you have any, uh, like teaching credentials or stuff like that? Or not really? Not yet? Or not really? I don't need teaching credentials. Most of the time, kids, kids are so downtrodden and pushed down by society that just somebody being there for them is enough for them to learn just the basics.
I hear you. I hear you. I know that. I don't. And so, so wait a second. I just feel that. So I was, yeah. So, uh, so I was just thinking about what direction as far as opportunities. That's, that's what, what, what direction. And so, uh, so out of curiosity. So what would happen if you started to, um, what, what would happen if you started to look at some, some places that you could possibly teach, um, and share with kids or even starting to, uh, reach out, like put an ad up for a tutor.
to start and start doing that. What would you're funny? You should see, you can see how, uh, my intention span is and my knowledge span is brandy. So I'm just saying that I'm open to doing anything and it's just, you know, It doesn't necessarily have to be with kids, it's, at this point in my life, it's, I'm up in the air, and that was just one way of, of going, so, it doesn't really matter.
You can see another, another pathway, why don't you tell me, and I'll try to go that way. Give me one second. All right. The level in your, uh, bingo, bingo. All right. So if I ask you the level in your, um, in your upper back, what's your, what's your level? You said two to three, right? It's at least it's a three to three to three to three and a half.
Now it's gone. Bingo. So the great thing is, is you can see that what we're talking about is definitely directly connected to it. So, Yeah, my life. Where am I, what am I going to do now that I was forced out of my job? Okay. And, uh, bingo. And if I ask you, okay, so what was your last job? I was a, uh, senior gardener in a large city on the west coast.
Okay. Five percent of the, the working force was fired. And this is where I'm going. By the way, there was a A woman on a past episode, who was also in a very bad financial situation, actually a couple of them. And in her, as far as job and work and what was she going to do? And, and I don't know if you remember it, but her, uh, her boyfriend had just left and suddenly she didn't know how she was going to pay for rent or raise her kid or anything like that.
And, uh, and, and she basically had started really just put her whole focus into building her business. And she messaged in and was like, Oh my God, you know, it's actually working. Money's actually coming in. And, and it was beautiful. It was absolutely beautiful and the thing is in your situation is that, um, I have a like, give me one second because back to that.
Bingo. Bingo. Here we go. All right. So I'm gonna ask you to close your eyes.
All right. So let's go ahead and pause it just for a quick moment. You know, first and foremost, this episode is just powerfully insightful and this segment is Very much so. And especially if you're somebody who is feeling stuck in any area of your life, but even the financial area. Now notice for a moment that there's a lot of frustration for Irv in this area.
You know, when, when we started out, he said, you know, I just, I'm frustrated because I didn't get the shot, so I can't do what it is that I'm wanting to do. And so it was, it's very much. He's, he's stuck in that, uh, in a, uh, victim, um, not fair. So life isn't fair feeling. It's not fair because I didn't get the shot.
Now when there's some solutions about, you know, moving forward and by the way, also right now, a lot of things don't even require, The shot in many areas, you know, and, and I know that there's a lot of private schools that don't like, so there's a lot of, you know, um, there's a lot of places that, that don't require the vaccine and, you know, so a lot of the rules around that have relaxed, but either way, what you want to be willing to do is to really get resourceful and again, there's really powerful insights from this and, and it's this.
It's that you'll notice he's, he's stuck in feeling like, but I can't teach kids because I didn't get the shot and I don't want to go on zoom and I don't want to do this and I can't do that. Like the, the stuckness and again, and it's not just him. I think a lot of people have been there at some point, so, which is why this is a really powerful episode because you can see it.
I mean, he's a beautiful being and he has a great heart and you can also see he's just very, very, very stuck, you know? And, um, and. Stuck in his way of thinking and feeling and and What you want to do and even what I did, you know when I was going through my injury I was a financial mess. I mean I went from a network engineering income to a disability income and At the time I mean I owned my own house in California and paying a, having a disability income with a house payment in California is, it's not a great combination.
So, uh, I went broke very quickly and, uh, and you know, was struggling to do anything, you know, struggling to pay my bills. I had never been behind in a single payment ever of anything until this time. And it was a financial mess. Of course, as I started going through it and, and starting being willing to change and change on healing and change on everything and, you know, finances was a big stress.
And so I just started picturing and started really, of course, changing my mind and really feeling differently and radically feeling differently. And, and, And that was what I started doing, and then I started taking action on ideas that I had. And so my point is, is what you'll notice. is if you think about his energy, he's very stuck in the, I didn't get a shot and I can't do, he's very stuck in the story of all the things he couldn't do.
Now what I, what I did is I started changing and then I started having ideas for money that I hadn't otherwise thought of. And, you know, in everybody's situation it's different. I mean, in mine, I had had thousands of CDs at the time. I love music. And I had thousands of CDs in one of my, in my spare bedroom.
Just, I mean, that racks and racks of CDs. And this, you know, tells you it's 2007, 2008, somewhere in there, you know, and the iPod was out and I had all my music on my iPod anyway. And it wasn't like I was getting up to go listen to a CD all the time, you know? And so at that time I thought, oh my God, well I'll sell them to a u CD store.
So I did exactly that. And it, you know, I had a few thousand CDs, so it made money. And I hadn't even thought of the idea at the time, which you might think, well, of course, Brandy, you should do that. Um, but it wasn't a single idea that you would even think of, you know, I, or at least I didn't. When I was in my mess, it was like my brain was blocked from ideas.
And you don't think about, I don't know, at least I didn't at the time selling CDs to make money, but then I had that thought and then I had another thought and then I had another thought and then one thing led to another led to another that I just started having ideas or having certain situations come up, even Where I am right now, I mean, with, working with health is the last thing that I ever thought that I would be doing.
And kind of how it unfolded, you know, I, after I was better and, and I would happen to meet this doctor and, and, uh, you know, and, and I had been helping other people where, you know, people in my life were saying, Hey, you know, can you help me out? Can you help me out with this? And I said, sure. And, and in my mind, I was going to work.
you know, back to network engineering. That's what I was going to do. But then I, you know, was helping this person on the side and that person on the side, just helping people. Cause I wanted them to feel better. And I never planned on making it a profession. Like that was the last thing that I would ever have thought.
And then through a series of events I ended up meeting this doctor who was a chiropractor who also did blood work and you know Alternative health and he was like, you know, hey and basically long story short I ended up working with him and and it all evolved into something that I had never even thought about Planned and would've been the last thing on my mind.
But that change started me to just say, okay, I'm gonna stop focusing on everything I can't do. 'cause initially, like I would, you know, it just, everything just continued to evolve. But initially I was very stuck and very much in fear and very much a mess. And you know, I was in a different place kind of where.
Irv is where he's like, I was like, well, I can't work and I can't do this and I can't do that. And how am I going to get money? And I can't pay my bills and I can't blah, blah, blah. And I was very, very, very stuck. And so I, I had to undo that and I had to start changing. And as I started changing, different ideas started coming in and, and this was also at the, you know, like at the end of my injury and, and so I was, you know, there was that idea and that idea and it just, it just evolved.
It was just a variety of different things. And so that's what you want to notice in your life. If you are in a place where you're financially stuck, no matter where you are, you'll want to change that. And by the way, I work with people who have been. In a very bad financial place, you know, the one second, you know, when I'm talking about my injury, it's, you know, that's 15, 20 years ago, going through all of that.
And I mean, now I work with people who have, you know, multi million, multi hundred million dollar companies. And I've worked with people who are losing millions of dollars before and in a bad place and in fear and all these things. And of course, I'm broke. Helping him to shift it, or her to shift it, and the person to shift it, to be able to shift their mindset.
And so, no matter where you are, you'll definitely, if you're having this problem of feeling financially stuck, you'll want to make sure to get your mind in a resourceful state. Instead of focusing on all the things you can't do. And by the way, something you always hear me say time and time again, you know, is that there are more millionaires created during the great depression than any other time in history.
And that's not about being a millionaire or not being a millionaire. It's about being willing to look for opportunity, being willing to change, being willing to not get stuck in fear, and I say that because, you know, the R word for recession has been bounced around a lot and all of that, and don't let yourself get stuck in that way of thinking.
Instead, keep lifting, keep transforming, and lift your emotions, and remember, it does take. Genuine. Real change. And so that said, let's go ahead and dive back in with Irv. Here we go.
And if I told you there was the woman with the abusive father who left him and then found the abusive boyfriend, boss, spouse, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. She was really, really frustrated and hurt and feeling all of this hurt and all of this upset. What advice would you give her? I would, uh, suggest to go to the nearest police station and have her husband thrown in jail.
Okay, so, and after she already left, and she said, I just can't date anymore because I'm just going to have another abusive man and another abusive man. What would you tell her? That not all men are bad. It's just that you, your, your vibration is atoning to that which is Not desirable for your, your relationship.
Okay. But if she said, but I've given up, there's no point. Every one of them are bad. All men are terrible and all men are abusive alcoholics. That's just all men. Well, I would, uh, suggest her to, to become, get involved in a women's Bible study that they can pray for to uplift her. And she would, uh, see that.
She's loved unconditionally by the women and then in turn down the road. She would would find the Love that she needs to find in man or in in Christ Okay, but that won't necessarily work and this is why Is when you stop and think about it, watch this ready? Uh, I'm ready. You've used this so many times and I guess I, I'm not, but this is, but this is totally, but this is the thing, right?
So how, okay. So it's very standard in a woman who has an abusive relationship. It is very standard that you actually notice a lot of times they might have plenty of loving family that they isolate away from. So they don't typically. So, so even some of them have. Loving family and that isn't worth loving people around them But that isn't enough like one of the meaning that sometimes like one of the signs of an abusive Relationship is that they'll start isolating that person from their family
All right. So let's go ahead and pause it just for a quick moment now. I want to be very clear Of course having a very loving family can be very helpful and very supportive and very beneficial. And also it's not the full solution. That change really does need to come from within. And, you know, if, if praying for somebody was enough, I mean, I can't tell you how many times I've heard people who have stories that, you know, there's a mother who says, I have my entire church pray for my daughter every day and every day and every day.
And the daughter still ends up on a path of drugs or alcohol or this or that or the son or whomever. And so, you know, we know that praying for somebody, it's nice, it's wonderful. It can be nice. It can be wonderful. And also, it That, to change you, to change your patterns, you've got to really, really be willing to change on the inside, and in, in a way, that's a great thing.
I mean, imagine for a moment if there was an entire group of people that wished something bad upon you, and then all of that, like, you don't want other people to be willing to change. Be able to just control your life and control who you are and control your patterns. So it's it's a great thing that we are all Empowered beings and we're gonna unpack this even more But knowing for a moment that it the point is is that all change really does Need to take place fully in into patterns and by the way, I have even worked with women before who have gone through that abusive relationship, and, you know, multiple times.
And then what'll happen is, you know, I'm sitting there talking to them, and they're like, gosh, I got out of it for six months, and I was with my family, and I felt so loved, and so blah, blah, blah. But then I went back to him. Why did I do that? And I can't tell you how many times I've seen that, where the woman does go into her family or friends and, and feels very, very, very loved.
And then makes the choice to then go back into the old patterns and it's because she still didn't change inside of her and so she still had that sabotage thing going on and I've seen that again and again and again or where, you know, they start to think that The family is, is wrong or, you know, it just, it shows up in a variety of different ways.
And so point being is, is that all the time I've seen people who have plenty of loving people around them and it's, it's great. So we don't want to undervalue loving people being around you. It's wonderful. You definitely want that. But. even with a loving family where they can still go into a mode of sabotage and going down the wrong path.
And we've also seen that with kids where they come from a loving family and they do go down the wrong path for one reason or another. And so knowing that that change, it really does start inside of each one of us. And we've got to be willing to really make that change. And so on that note, let's go ahead and dive back in with Beautiful Earth.
Here we go.
There, and so having a wonderful loving people around you isn't enough to transform that inside of a person. Does that make sense? Or people praying for them, that isn't enough to transform that inside of them. Does that make sense? So the change is inside of all of us. So that change would need to happen inside of her.
Does that make sense? Yes, it make, it would make sense, but I, I would, uh, like to disagree in the sense of there's, there's immense power in prayer and, and kind of in a sense you are praying for me, you've given me guidance. And so, I think there is a portion of that, that it is true, but I will, I will come back to where you want me to go, and say, yes, okay, I, I see that it's not going to potentially happen.
Okay. So let's, let's go this way, and let's say this. Is it in the Bible, it says, a merry heart is a medicine to the body. Ill thoughts will dry the bones. Right? Yes. Okay. And it also says whatever you ask for in prayer, believe you have received and it shall be yours. Exactly. Right? Mark 11 24. Okay, so I'm going to ask you just for a moment to breathe.
And it also says, do not conform to the ways of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Yes. Okay, so I'm going to ask you just for a moment to breathe. Yes. Okay. Okay. And I want you to think about that awareness. Do not conform to the ways of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
And so I'm going to ask you just for a moment to breathe. And I'm going to ask you, are you willing to renew your mind? Yes, I'm willing to renew my mind. Okay, so I'm going to ask you to breathe. And I want you to think about the hurt and the, uh, frustration, even towards your job and towards the shot. And all of that stuff.
And I'm going to ask you just for a moment to breathe. And I want you to look at that stuff. Not avoid it, not bury it, but look at it. And I'm going to ask you to breathe, I'm going to ask you to breathe, and I want you to notice the feeling, the feeling towards the frustration of all that stuff, and I'm going to ask you to be willing to let it go, to be willing to renew your mind, to be willing to really, really change, to let it go, to actually feel differently.
And I'm going to ask you to breathe, I'm going to ask you to breathe. And again, even towards the job and all of that. Like, if you think about it, you know, even if you think about, by the way, going back to Christ and the Bible and all of that, you know, when you think about it, the Bible says, um, those who love life will eat its fruit, right?
To eat the fruit thereof. Okay. So I'm going to ask you to breathe and notice that it doesn't say anywhere in there, life is unfair. Okay. That's part of a pattern. And so I'm going to ask you just for a moment to breathe. And I'm going to invite you to be willing to renew your way of thinking on this.
Instead of conforming to the way life is, being willing to transform by the renewing of your mind, and by the renewing of your mind, by the renewing of your mind, being willing to let go of the feeling that life isn't fair, and anger towards others, and frustration towards the shot, or the, or the job, or any of that stuff, and I'm going to ask you just for a moment to breathe.
and be willing to be transformed by the renewing of your mind. And I'm going to ask you to breathe.
And again, I want you to think about any of the feelings of anger and the anger and upset and the feeling of unfair. And again, bring in the awareness that you could conform to the old ways, or you can be transformed I'm going to ask you just for a moment to breathe and are you willing to be transformed by the renewing of your mind?
Are you willing to, you know, those who love life shall eat the fruit thereof. Those who love life shall eat the fruit thereof. So it doesn't say you're going to love life, but it's going to be really, really unfair. That's just a pattern. And I'm going to ask you just for a moment to breathe. And I'm going to ask you, are you willing to be transformed by the renewing of your mind and of your heart?
Letting the hurt go, and really looking at life in a new way. Being aware that, hey, that's a pattern, and hey, what would life look like if I didn't have this pattern? What would the future look like if I didn't have this pattern? Like, what would your life look like if you didn't have this pattern at all moving forward?
What would, what would that look like? Uh, it would certainly, my, at least my, the tension in my body would be gone. I for, don't foresee anything in my future. Uh, I would like the pain to be gone so I can work more than an hour in the yard or walk more than a mile and, you know, Okay, so if I said to you, I'm working on getting better and I just don't foresee anything in my future.
Okay. How does that feel? It feels very vague. Uh, that's just kind of where I'm at. I don't foresee any, you know, I would, yeah, I can see being able to, you know, my hobby is I guess my, my yard and TV, but really kind of a sick, sick thing would be watching a lot of TV. I'd like to get my yard, I guess, is my only thing that I really want to, or my, the property I live on, want to get it cleaned up and respectable.
Okay. Okay. And, uh, you know, um, bingo. This is what I would say. Um, my best suggestion is this, is that, you know, I could push and push and push. But, at this point, you know, what's great about it is this, is you can see what I'm talking about. You can see these patterns. You can see what's, you know, the, the hurt and the upset.
And my biggest suggestion would actually be to jump in my video course and go through each of the steps. And that, that really, you know, um, creating the real, real change at the core and, and, and, and taking the time to do it. Not trying to rush through it, but really to be able to heal, you've got to have something to, to, a sense of optimism, a sense of something to look forward to.
Uh, and so, and getting it programmed in, and having it in the subconscious mind, and so there are certain key things, um, that are needed, and, um, and I think that, you know, we, we could push and push, and even if we did, there would still, we want the shift to be all of the way genuine, that's what it really, it really, really does require that, and so I think that that would be, um, that going through the video set, Thank you want And doing the uplift calls and all of that is going to be what's going to be needed to, to really support that real transformation that's needed.
Does that make sense? All right. I'm all right. Let's, uh, I guess, uh, you were not going any further and, uh, which is, which is fine, but, uh, so I'll let you go and God bless you, Brandy. And, uh, thank you so much for, uh, Trying to help me and Absolutely, and this is what's beautiful, is that, wouldn't it be great if you have something to look forward to?
Like, how would you feel like if you really had something that you were genuinely looking forward to in life?
Yeah, um, yeah, immaculate yard. I guess that's the only thing I have, the beautiful yard. That's what I would, uh, grasp onto right now. The only thing I can hold on to, actually. All right. I hear you. I gotta tell you, going through my injury, I didn't have anything to look forward to either. And then, so I, I, I mean, I had to do the work to, so I, I've been there.
I, I get it. I mean, I didn't even want to live. So I, I understand. And I'm, I'm glad I did. My whole life changed. But it, I mean, it took real, Real, real follow through. And so, uh, so, I don't want you to, I don't want you to feel like, Oh, well, it failed and it didn't, like, work and you didn't do good. Nothing like that.
It's not that you didn't do good enough. You didn't do it right or anything like that. What it is, is just, there's more shifts that are needed in the mind and They need to really be in the mind very, very strong for you to be able to do this and all of that. So there's key pieces and um, it's kind of like this.
On the past episodes you've seen where I work with people and, and notice like on one episode we might talk about several different pieces, right? Yes. And so, in your case, it's like the, that, a piece of moving forward is, is missing. And so, for us to really get it in really strong, it's, it's actually going to, it requires some additional shifts.
It's just, um. It's again, it's not that you've done anything wrong. It's not that you didn't do well enough. It's nothing like that. We just need different pieces in your brain. It feels like that. It just seems, but that's okay. Okay. But this is the thing, right? You know about me that I'm very, very, very honest.
Like I will tell people. Yes, you are. You're very honest. So I would be like, Irv, You're doing this all wrong. Let me show you how to do it right. But in this case, I'm like, Hey, there's this piece that we really need in here and it's going to take more, more shifting. And I'm also really honest in saying that to me, I always say the bigger the shift, the bigger the gift.
And I mean, if you look at my life, I mean, I was, I was a train wreck. I was a financial mess. I was in pain. I was, I mean, everything. And the bigger the shift, the bigger the gift. It just, the more you shift. And so, uh, I would just say that there's, there's more of a shift needed and that it's a great thing.
It's a great thing. So, um, but I can also tell that you have a really, really big heart and I like that about you. So I think you have a lot of wonderful things. And, um, and I just think that there's some key pieces that are needed to get in. Does that, does that make sense? Yes. Future. future. Yeah. Something to look forward to.
Right. Right. So on that note, it has been such a pleasure connecting with you and I'm going to connect you with my team and we're going to figure this out and we'll support you to get there. Okay. All right, so let's go ahead and bring this all together and I have to say first and foremost I want to acknowledge Irv, you know, he he hung in there and Also, there's some things that I want to unpack here that are really needed to make the change So when I mentioned in the very beginning that you would probably be surprised about the ending It's because as you can see he did not release the script This is not about perfection.
This is about creating a real change. And you know, notice he was talking about the only thing he has to look forward to is hopefully having a nice yard and making his house an area respectable is what he said. And you know, he said his main thing he likes to do is just watch TV. And also coupled with that.
There was that feeling where he said that he doesn't even bother having things anymore because he'll just lose it. Okay? Now if you think about it, not only does he not have something to look forward to, but he has a lot of beliefs stored up. That even if he does, what's the point? You know, even if he does, he's just going to lose it.
And by the way, you know, if somebody's going through life and they feel like, well, if I do this and this and this, I'm just going to lose it anyway. If I do this and this and this, I'm just going to lose it anyway, then it's hard to move forward and really feel great. And if there's also nothing that you're Looking forward to or that you want to look forward to, you know, there's there's a stuckness now This is the thing though.
Okay, so of course in my own life, I mean, I was injured I I didn't feel like there was anything that I had to look forward to I my mind was stuck on wanting to actually exit life and I didn't feel like there was a way for it I didn't feel like there was anything I could do. I didn't feel like I was You know, I had a future.
I felt like I was going to be in pain forever and there was no way to get better. And that's where I was for a period of time. And I quickly learned that when I was in that mindset, life was very dark. I was depressed and my mind just wanted to exit life. And so part of the reason that I studied so much to figure out how to do it and became so determined is also because.
I didn't want to stop, I knew I couldn't stop because I knew if I stopped researching, if I stopped trying to figure it out, that I was going to fall into a very dark place. Like any days that I wasn't researching and wasn't trying to figure it out was dark. And so, I just kept going and I kept going. I said, look, if this works, if this works and our minds really help create our life, then I'm going to figure this out.
And that's part of the, by the way that I started looking at, I mean, metaphysics and quantum physics and even the Bible and, and all of these different things is because I was like, it's written everywhere, you know, do not conform to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, you know, written mind.
What, 4, 000 years ago in the Bible or, you know, several thousand years ago, I don't know the exact date on that specific one, but thousands of years ago, or even Einstein, imagination is the preview of life's coming attraction. And so part of what I was looking at as I was going, you know, all of this data says, like, if we really learn how to do this, we can have a better life.
We could change our life. And then of course I was like, okay, well, all right, I'm going to really figure out how to do this then. Like, if we have this ability, I'm going to figure out how to do this. And that's exactly what I did. Now, this is the thing that what we can see from Irv's experience here is that even as we were talking to him, his pain in that specific area started going up a bit.
So we can see from that, That what we were talking about was connected to the pain in his physical body. But if you also notice, his emotions never changed. And that is what's important. He never changed. He was very stuck to his way of thinking. And even when I asked him if he wanted to change and if he was willing to change, he would say, yes.
But then immediately go back into his story and immediately going back into a story. And again, it's perfect. So it's not that he did it wrong or he's not good enough or any of that, because what'll happen is he'll have this recording and I'll have this awareness and also, So you can start going through the video course and really create that real change.
And I want to invite you to look at where you may be stuck in your life, where you may be going into the same old story and the same old story and the same old story. Because if you're in that same old story and you're feeling the same and your mind keeps going back to the old story, then you're going to stay stuck.
And it's not. Going to work, which is exactly what we're seeing here. You know, if you think about it for a moment again on past episodes We've seen people change pain change their life, you know, even you know all kinds of things even if you think about even the like episode number 10 the woman who had a tumor in her throat and by the way if you think about That specific episode which a huge juxtaposition From this episode the very reason I brought her on is Because she embraced change in such an awesome, fast way.
If you recall that episode, she had a tumor in her throat that had just been, you know, she just had an MRI on it. It was five millimeters and we had one, one hour session. And then she went in to go see her surgeon the next day and the tumor was gone. And he said in his 30 years of working as an ENT, he has never seen anything like it because they had just taken an MRI.
Right before that to show that the tumor was there and it had been there several months and and so all of that and so Hers was really about embracing radical change that she was like, okay, these are the changes. All right, I'm going to do it. And she did it. And of course, there are so many other beautiful beings who have been on the podcast who have been able to do exactly that.
And if we look at Irv's situation, there are some complexities and also in life, we have to make sure that we've got a willingness to change, that we can't stay in any topic on the same story. Because we'll keep getting the same results. And again, he's a beautiful, beautiful being, and he didn't do it wrong by not getting results.
Because, as long as he can look at this and see it, and see that his mind is going back to the old, and going back to the old, and going back to the old, then it gives him the awareness to change. And not only that, but even from this. You know, if he goes through the video set and really understands how to use his mind and how to get his subconscious mind programmed, and he really actually says, okay, look, I'm going to roll up my sleeves and I am going to create real change.
That in itself can be a life changing gift right there. And so again, as you'll hear me say so many times, my injury. did not create a gift in my life. You know, most people who have what I had don't get better. What changed my life is that I changed so much. I understood my mind and I created that radical change.
And no matter what you're looking to change, whether it's finances or pain or relationships or this, that, the other, I want to emphasize that real change is needed. And also, at the end of every episode, when you'll hear me work with somebody who releases their pain and I, first thing I say to them is, awesome job.
You did it. Remember, they did it. They released their own pain. Now you can really also see. That they really are doing it, that it really is up to every single person to do it, and that I'm not the one that's controlling their pain or not. It's all up to each individual person. And so that said, I want to invite you to take in the awareness that you really are the power.
And I want to invite you to maybe look at an area of your life where you may be stuck in your old way of thinking. and be willing to change it. And so that said, I am going to invite you to please do make a point to share this episode, share it with somebody you love, somebody you care about, or somebody you don't even know.
And also I want to invite you, if you have been somebody who is very stuck, I want to invite you to even go back and listen. To episode number 10, because you'll see that exact juxtaposition. The very reason I invited Xena, a beautiful being on there. Yes, she absolutely released her tumor, but the very theme of that entire episode is like, what an amazing badass woman who is like embracing change.
Oh, you want to change this? Boom. Change it. You want to change that? Like she literally was like, whatever I need to change, I'm changing it. And she did. And so the exciting part of that is even, by the way, with Irv, he could literally listen to this and be like, you know what, I'm changing my life today. And do that.
