Hello, and welcome to this week's quick IQ episode, where we talk about insights and questions. And on today's episode, I want to share with you a mind test. if you will, that you can do to actually gain even more insight into the awareness of healing and life transformation. And that's where we're going today.
So there's two specific things. that we're going to do is we are going to do that exercise. And then the second thing we're going to talk about is something that you can do in your life and even start your mornings out with to start creating a transformation just because There are so many mistakes that people are making when they're working with the mind that are keeping them stuck for years.
And as you probably know, if you're here, I mean, most people have been stuck on the healing journey for 10, 20, 30, 50 years, even in all of the time I see that. And when I start to look at what a person has been doing, it's because the things that they're doing are Or keeping them stuck, essentially. And so that's what we're going to talk about as a second thing is just something else that is keeping people stuck from really getting that real change in their life and something simple that you can do to start really shifting the energy and transformation and just start shifting the energy.
your life. All right. So that said, diving in first and foremost to number one, the exercise that I mentioned. Now, the interactive exercise that we're going to do is what I call the DS mind test, if you will. And it's not really a test per se, but again, just this simple exercise. We'll add another level of awareness and insight.
And if you are somebody who has seen me speak from stage before at an event, then you may recognize this quick exercise just because it's something that I do frequently with people because it is so profound. And so on that note, I do want to let you know, it is. It's very profound and I have to say it is also very silly.
It's it's ridiculous, but stick with me through the end of it. And by the way, as we go into this exercise, I do want to note that I am going to invite you to close your eyes. And of course, if you're driving, close your eyes. Please don't close your eyes, don't do that, you know, if you are driving, I would recommend hitting the pause button and coming back later to do this exercise, just because to get the full awareness of it, it would be great for you to be able to follow along and really think about the insights that come from this, because again, it is extremely insightful and also helpful.
Extremely ridiculous. And so, uh, you'll see what I mean on the other side of this. And so that said, let's go ahead and dive into this simple exercise. Here we go. So I want to invite you to just take a moment and relax. And I want to invite you to close your eyes. and just completely relax your body.
And I want to invite you to picture that somebody you love is making you your most favorite meal ever. You know, they're, they're just making this meal for you and you love them so much, and I want you just for a moment to notice what feeling comes up for you. What feeling comes up for you. And. By the way, as I'm doing this with live audiences, people will say things like, oh my gosh, that just feels so loving or so sweet, or I feel so blessed and taken care of, and I just feel so loved.
And so those are typically the emotions that will come up for people. Now, There's another thing that sometimes will come up and it's this sometimes people will say things like oh I feel guilty or I feel really bad or selfish or different things like that and We're going to talk about that in a minute.
So I'm going to ask you to kind of set that awareness aside for the moment, but just really focus on, okay, the feeling that would come up. And for the majority of people, it is a feeling of feeling loved or feeling a lot of kindness or connectedness. You know, it's really usually a lot of beautiful feelings.
All right. So I'm going to ask you just for a moment to just set that also completely aside, you know, just for a moment, breathe, clear that, clear it from your mind completely. Absolutely. Just clear it from your mind. 100%. And now we're going to go into a completely different vision. And I do want to remind you that as I stated, it's going to be ridiculous and silly, But it's also going to be very profound and I'll explain why after we do this, but here we go.
Let's go ahead and dive into the second part of the DS mind test. Here we go. So I want to invite you to go ahead and breathe and relax. And I want to invite you to picture. There is a perfect silver spoon. in your hand and you take that silver spoon and you take it and you take a big scoop of stinky doggy poo and you bring it towards your mouth like you're going to eat it.
And I want you to notice what emotion comes up for you. And I'm going to ask you again. I warned you it was silly, but it's very profound and that's where we're going to go. But clear that, delete, delete, delete, clear that wonderful, clean, fabulous spoon and the smell of roses and flowers and lavender and everything else.
So bring that in instead. Clear that, delete, delete, delete. Now, I want to unpack this because again, it's very silly, but extremely profound for several reasons. You'll notice several really powerful insights on how to work with the mind. And so I'm going to unpack the most basic one and it's this. It's that all of the time when I'll have people do this, one emotion that can come up for people is of course they'll say like, you know, disgust or nasty, gross, or some people will say.
Oh my God, I felt like I wanted to gag and bingo. That is the first insight that you'll want to take from this, is when you stop and think about it, that right there is an emotion or a vision, you know, something in your mind that's not even real. that can impact the physical body. And, you know, if you think about past episodes where I'm working with people and we're working with underlying emotions in their subconscious mind, that's affecting their physical body, a lot of times people are like, well, how is an emotion going to affect our physical body?
And when you stop and think about it, Even with this simple imagined awareness, some people will feel the need to gag from it, where you can see that an emotion can affect. the physical body. Okay. So that's the most basic foundational one. Now, another thing that you'll want to think about is the awareness that this is mind programming that you haven't thought of for many, many, many years.
And that's part of the reason that I use this silly example is because I needed something that people don't typically think about. And this is something that you haven't probably thought about for years and years and years. Now it's also something. that is programmed in, and this is what I mean, is that if you have ever changed a baby's diaper before, then you probably know or have experienced before where you've kind of got to tie down their hands or just be very watchful of their hands, making sure that they don't put them in their dirty diaper and start to play with anything, or they're just Maybe you've seen a baby before where they'll end up going to the bathroom in a bathtub and want to play with it.
Now my point being on this is that we are not born with doggy poo, ew, nasty, gross. We learn that. It's programmed in. So if you've ever seen a baby eating nasty things or there's been babies finding little treats in the cat litter box or whatever that is, but point being is that this This ewy, nasty, gross is programmed into your subconscious mind at a very young age.
Now this is the most insightful part here and it's this. It's that a person could meditate for 10, 000 hours, 20, 000 hours, 30, 000 hours and they're still never going to get rid of this specific programming unless. They specifically want to target and change that specific programming. But it's not just simply going to go away with meditation.
Now, of course you want that programming there, but what if that programming Was something really painful that happened at age 1 or age 3 or age 5? What if it was a hurt? What if it was abandonment or rejection or anger or whatever it was? But what if that emotion instead of being connected to Doggy poo or whatever it else it is.
It was some type of emotional wounding that took place. Well, the reality of it is, is that you could meditate and meditate and meditate for years, but it's not just going to go heal and erase that trauma. type of wounding that's built in the subconscious mind. And so that's why when you see me work with volunteers on past episodes, and I'm taking somebody and working with them and identifying the specific emotional pattern that's going on in their subconscious mind, and then helping them to shift it, that's the way that I'm helping people to get.
Real radical results. And so again, I know that DS mind test, which stands for doggie stuff, mind test. I know it's silly, but again, it's also profound because you can see how even the way that you use your mind, even if something isn't real, how you can trigger things from the past or trigger responses from your body.
And when I'm working with different volunteers, you know, different emotions affect the body differently. And, you know, during my injury, I was meditating for years and for thousands of thousands of hours, and it still wasn't working. And of course, That's what made me start looking at the brain at a, at a deeper level.
Now, another thing that I want to touch on, you know, when we were doing the DS mind test, I mentioned that when some people were visioning a person making them their favorite meal, that instead of, you know, the feelings of love coming up for them instead, They would have feelings of guilt, or feeling awkward, or feeling undeserving of it, or, you know, just not feeling good.
It made them feel off. Now, when you stop and think about it for a moment, I see that all of the time as well, where people are doing that exact exercise and they go, Gosh, you know, I felt undeserving, I felt unworthy, I felt like I just didn't deserve it, I felt guilty that they had to do anything for me.
And, That, in itself, is another powerful insight, and if that was you, then this is something that you'll want to pay attention to, because you'll want to really bring in that you do deserve a great life, and really authentically shift this. That is the key. So important for healing, for really transforming your life.
Now, I have to say, on a worse note, you know, all of the time what I'll see is I'll see people who heard that to heal, that they're supposed to bring in a feeling of gratitude. And so they're bringing in these feelings of, Oh, I'm so grateful for my life. I'm so grateful for my healing. I'm so grateful for everybody around me.
And they're bringing in all of these thoughts of gratitude. Meanwhile, there's these underlying feelings. of guilt or feeling undeserving. And so I want to pose the question to you. If you stop and think about it, if there is somebody who did this DS mind test, who was feeling a feeling of guilt for receiving or undeserving or unworthy of receiving, and this person starts bringing in feelings of gratitude for life and gratitude for all the great things they're receiving, what do you think happens to their level of guilt on the inside?
Well, I can tell you from experience in working with thousands and thousands of people that what happens is many times it goes up So they feel even more guilty, even more undeserving, or they feel worse, or they feel like, wow, they can't possibly receive any more because they're already receiving so many, so much gratitude for so much in life.
And so what ultimately ends up happening is it backfires. It attracts more people. negative things, because now a person's feeling more guilty, feeling more undeserving, feeling like a bad person. I mean, it just, it ends up snowballing or, you know, attracting more and more negative situations and experiences, and I see that all of the time as well.
And so you'll just want to be very aware of how you really feel. And of course, gratitude is a great thing. You want to feel so blessed and grateful for life, but, You also want to be honest with yourself and aware of how you really feel in life and make sure to transform the underlying emotions of what's really going on because a lot of times people are just trying to put a band aid on it they're trying to like meditate on top of it and hoping that'll fix it or put in gratitude on top of it and hoping that'll fix the problem but instead it ends up backfiring in a variety of different ways and so making that real change All right.
So those are the top insights from the DS mind test. Now, the second thing that I mentioned was talking about another mistake that people are making with the mind, and then also something simple that you can do to start up leveling your health and your life. So that's where we're going with this second insight.
And the second insight is this, is that all of the time, I see people who are trying to bring in a feeling of relaxation. And they feel like the most spiritual place that they can be, that most spiritual emotional state, is one of relaxation. But, That's not really where you want to hang out. And let me give you a kind of a bigger picture overview of this.
You know, if you think about your 8 or 9 year old self, if you asked your 8, 9, 10 year old self, what emotion you wanted to feel as an adult, you know, how would you want to feel? You know, some things that would have come up for me would be something like, you know, happy or excited about life or, you know, having a lot of friends and connecting with people and laughing and enjoying and loving life to its fullest and feeling energized and being just, again, happy, you know, those are the emotions that would have come up for me.
Now, I know that my younger nine, 10 year old self would not have said, Oh, Well, I want to grow up and I just want to be relaxed. I just want to relax. Okay. Now there's a few things that are important to note from this. So I know again, this one might seem a little silly, but it's also profound is that all the time people are going, I just need to relax.
I just need to relax. Now, remember that. Emotions breed more of the same. So you don't really want to look at your life 10 years from now, 20 years from now and say, What is your life? Well, it's just mundane. It's just all relaxed. You know, the reality of it is, is that even boredom has unfortunately been linked to death.
You know, high death rates when people have a lot of boredom. in their lives. And you don't want to then have that feeling of oh, I'm just relaxed. But, even more so, the real important part of this is that a lot of times people are feeling stressed and so they want to relax. And stressed, and so they want to relax.
But notice, if somebody's feeling stressed and then they want to relax, that's not really good. transforming their life. That's like trying to put a band aid on a problem, but instead the feeling that you'll want is really loving life, is feeling alive, feeling in love, enjoying life. You know, a simple illustration that I use all the time with people is if you think about the difference, it's like this.
It's like, you know, imagine that you're driving somewhere and you're late for something. You're way late for something really important. How do you typically feel? Well, usually like angst, stressed, just needing to get there in a hurry, feeling like you're fighting traffic or whatnot or this, that, the other.
You know, it's not a good feeling. However, imagine for a moment that instead you're driving down the freeway and the music is up. And you're listening to the music, and you love the song that's on, the sun is out, it's beautiful outside, and you've got this, just, music, just, you're loving it, and you're smiling, and you're driving.
You know, it's a whole different feeling. It's like you're going through life, and you're just having fun, and in flow, and loving life, and laughing, and enjoying, and connecting with people. I mean, it's a whole different vibe. That's the vibe that you want to have. towards your life, you know, the energy or the feel of it.
And so that's what I want to invite you to do every morning is instead of just trying to always relax and meditate and be quiet and all those things, instead be joyous, be happy, be elevated, be euphoric, you know, and I'm not saying that that has to be loud. I mean, a lot of times, even what I'll have people do is, you know, even just go take a walk outside and you can do so in a place of being really, really quiet and just feeling happy about the day, you know, feeling happy and just loving life.
the sun, loving the sky, sending love towards all of your family and your friends and thinking about them, even creating a loving connection with universe, God, divine, and just feeling that feeling of connection. And I have to say, you know, to me, that feeling of connection with universe, it just feels purely euphoric.
It feels like this natural high feeling, like this buzz feeling that feels so good. with Universe, Divine, God, whatever you want to call it. And so, point being is that, you know, again, all the time I just see people going, Okay, well let me just relax, and let me be still. And that's not the energy, that's not the feeling that you want to create.
So, even let's say you are sitting there, and you are being still, Okay, then sit there and be still, but create that feeling in you of euphoria, and amplify it, and really make it feel really big, because again, as you can see from past episodes, patterns breed more of the same. You know, if you've been listening to past episodes where I've been working with volunteers who maybe have a pattern of hurt that started in their childhood, or a rejection, or whatever it is, that continues on years and years and years and years later.
And. What if everybody just had these patterns of love, of happiness, of euphoria, and that's the way everybody felt, you know, connected and enjoying life. That would be great. would be an incredible feeling. And so just want to invite you to really look at shifting this within yourself to help uplevel your health, your life, your happiness, you know, all of that.
Now from this episode, I know that all of the time when I share with people that, hey, meditation isn't enough to heal you. You have to do more. People always ask, you know, well then, what do I need to do? Or, you know, gratitude isn't enough, you have to do something different. People all the time ask that same exact question.
Okay, what is it that I need to do? Now, just last week, I did this live online training that had thousands and thousands of people signed up for it. Technically, there was more people who even signed up for it than there was room for. And so, I didn't put out a big thing to everybody in the community just because It was already so packed.
It filled up really, really quickly. If I tried to add on any more people, it wouldn't have worked. The technology was full for the room, but what I did do is I just went ahead and hit record on the training. And it's about a 90 minute training and everybody has been loving it. And so. If you are somebody who is saying to yourself, okay, well, wait, what do I need to do for healing?

So it gives you a really strong understanding of. what it is that you need to do and where a lot of people are getting stuck and kind of just puts it all together to build that bigger picture of healing for you.
So you have more clarity because I really do want everybody to get real results. You know, the more empowered that everybody is, the better. The better our entire world will be.
